ELDERLY PEOPLES LUNCH & WELLBEING CLUB
WHAT WE DO:
The NLMCC delivers an Elderly Lunch & Wellbeing Club for over 55’s on Wednesday afternoon.
Our club provides healthy meals, activities and social experiences for our users. We also help them to access appropriate statutory and community services to support their needs
THE PURPOSE OF THE CLUB IS TO:
- Prevent social isolation
- Promote independent living
- Improve wellbeing
SOME OF THE SERVICES / ACTIVITIES WE DELIVER ARE:
- Healthy balanced meals
- Reading area
- A place to meet, interact with other people and make friends
- General support from our volunteers on issues and concerns the users may have
- Provide volunteering opportunities for people over 55
- Supporting users to access statutory and community services to address their needs
- Healthy lifestyle workshops
- Outdoor trips
- Cultural activities
